Statistics and LSAT studies are coming along well. And I'm once again in good enough shape to run 9 miles without breaking much of a sweat, as I did yesterday.

My 21st birthday, which was three days ago, was the best I ever had. Given all that's happened recently, I didn't think I would enjoy it, since I thought I would feel like it was just another step towards an adulthood I felt like I'd already screwed up. But I was feeling much more hopeful about my decisions, my future, and life in general. The night before, I slept over at my good friend 's place and we watched Thor and Captain America and derped all over the Avengers tag on tumblr. It was awesome. The next day, we went to a local garden and relaxed and talked there for a good hour or so, then we went to see the Avengers, which was AMAZING. I've been waiting for this movie since it was announced in 2008, and it did not disappoint. has been such a good friend to me, always, and spending my birthday with her was what made it my best ever. Then I went home and my parents had a delicious birthday dinner ready for me. They have been supportive to me throughout this ordeal, as ever, and I can't thank them enough.

I just finished writing the eighth chapter of Velut Luna, my UlquiHime fanfiction, and I think it's one of the best, if not *the* best that I've written so far. I also started a SasuKarin fanfiction, Yogen-sha, and published a new chapter of Blood Will Out, my original story, a romance/adventure set in an ancient land inhabited by humans and youkai. As I said before, my friend and fellow Deviant, frostbell (whose art you can find here: [link] will be doing drawings (some full color!), illustrations, and maybe even some comics to accompany it.
